RK gears was established as a gear manufacturing company in 1984 in Lahore's largest industrial estate.The equipment installed at the time included gear hobbers, shapers, broaching machines, hob cutter grinders, high frequency induction heating, lathes etc, with a special line for starter ring gear manufacturing.This was based on gear manufacturing for the local tractor industry.
